Dear RockSTAR Parents,

STAR Education is excited to announce its annual RockSTAR Music Education Summer Rockfest 2024 to take place on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the legendary Troubadour! The Troubadour, a true iconic music venue in LA, has hosted performances by rock music legends Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Motley Crew, Guns ‘n’ Roses, and many more! Below are details to help prepare you and your child for this special day!

LOCATION: 9081 N. Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069 (border of Beverly Hills just east of Doheny) https://troubadour.com.

DOORS OPEN: 11:00 AM Please see the schedule below for BAND arrival time.

TICKETS:  Tickets are $20. Purchase tickets at www.starinc.org. Students enrolled in RockSTAR classes are free. Children 3 and under are free. Children 4 and up must have a ticket. Capacity is 500. Standing room only.

PARKING:  There is metered parking available in the surrounding areas of the venue. Please read signage carefully to ensure you do not get a ticket. Many of the meters are valid for 2 hours. T-SHIRTS:  STAR will be selling special commemorative RockSTAR T-shirts for this event for $22 that will be available for presale in child and adult sizes. You can purchase a t-shirt on our website at www.starinc.org. We recommend you buy your t-shirt at the same time that you purchase your tickets.

FOOD & DRINK: The Troubadour may serve food and drinks; however, please feed your child(ren) a hearty meal well before arriving at the venue for their performance. We ask that all performers at the Troubadour eat AFTER their performance to avoid any possible issues. 

SHOW ATTIRE: Parents are encouraged to have fun “styling” their children like true RockSTARs! RockSTAR apparel and accessories are highly encouraged.  Unfortunately, due to limited space at the venue, we will not be offering our RockSTARification services.

EVENT LINE-UP:  The show is expected to run from 11:45 am-1:45 pm. Doors open at 11:00 am. Please check the below band lineup for arrival and showtimes for performance day. 

AFTER THE PERFORMANCE:  Before each band performance, STAR staff will supervise performers as they take band photos at our step-and-repeat area. Parents are asked to remain in the venue. Parents will pick up children to the left of the stage area immediately after their performance.
